SPECIALTY
INTRODUCTION
The Specialty building category encompasses buildings for a wide range of applications, predominantly health, educational, leisure, transport, military, religious, infrastructure, civic and government buildings. We understand that many specialty projects can be in live environments and the need to deliver these projects with minimum disruption.
HEALTH
The construction of steel frame hospitals, clinics, nursing homes and small specialist healthcare facilities requires factors such as fire protection, frequencies and vibration response factors to be taken into account during the design stage. Our company’s fabrication capabilities ensure that the stringent manufacturing specifications of this sector can be achieved, providing the designed building performance. Health sector steel buildings often come with demanding programme durations. We strive to supply our sites with sectional deliveries, in a timely manner, in order to avoid on-site delays in material handling and to fulfil the tight lead times.
EDUCATION
Demand for steel frame buildings in the education sector continues to grow, as the benefits of structural steelwork become recognised. Low rise steel frame buildings offer schools, universities, colleges and academies large open span spaces which in turn allow for flexible arrangement of layouts. We undertake the construction of both new built steel frame education developments, as well as the extension and improvement of existing ones.
LEISURE
Leisure developments cover a wide variety of buildings, with the most typical examples being arenas and stadia, gyms and leisure centres. Recent decades have seen the fitness and leisure industries booming, driving demand for such developments upwards. Our company has undertaken the supply of both the primary and the secondary steelwork for both new buildings and the refurbishment of existing ones.
