ERECTION
OUR ERECTION TEAM
As a specialised steelwork contractor committed to providing complete service solutions, we offer the erection of our fabricated steel structures. Despite the fact that nearly 90% of our product value is generated in our offices and workshops, the construction site is where our clients get to have direct contact with our company and where they view the steelwork package, they commissioned us to build. Hence, in order to ensure the reliability and the skills required for this vital service, we directly employ a team of professional erectors with a combined 100-year on-site experience, that can make sure our steelwork is erected safely and accurately. Furthermore, during periods of increased demand, we utilise our network of trusted installation partners to work alongside us. Our erection teams operate throughout the country and have worked on installations across multiple sectors.
ERECTION PROCEDURE
Each site is coordinated from start to finish by a site supervisor, either engineer or foreman, ensuring workflow coherence and a single point of contact. Our site services begin with the initial site survey, followed by the preparation of the site. We develop an erection plan which includes a detailed description of our work procedure, the identification of site risks and the safety precautions that will be taken. Erectors are briefed before arriving on site and, should the need arise, our site supervisors carry out short toolbox talks with them. The erection plan is determined well in advance of site launch, and in coordination with our production team, so that the flow of steel delivered to site is consistent with the erection sequence and also, in order to give the client the time to make all necessary site preparations for steel erection. Subsequently, we determine our crane lift plan, using certified craneage and mobile elevating work platforms according to the specific needs of each site. Our erection team can undertake the installation of steelwork, cladding, roofing, rainwater systems and metal decking. Moreover, they are able to carry out on-site modifications including fabrication and welding if required, with minimum erection downtime, so that project completion deadlines are not affected.
